Who is a Jew?
Due to the atrocities during the Crusades, Inquisition, Progroms and the Holocaust, the Rabbis declared that the only true way that one could be certain of Jewish blood was through the mother. The point is very well understood with Messianic Jews. However, the Tenach always documented Jewish lineage through the father. We look at it this way if there is verifiable Jewish blood on either side, to the level of grand parent, then one is a Jew.

What is Messianic Judaism?
It is living our lives in a biblical while in a Jewish way, incorporating the traditions and customs that are not in conflict with the scriptures [Tenach & Brit Hadasha] where Yeshua is the center. It is seeing and experiencing Messiah Yeshua is in the Jewish Life cycles, the feasts, Praise and Worship and our identity as Jews.

What are the basic differences between Orthodox, Conservative and Reformed Judaism?
Just as not all Christians are alike, not all Jews are alike or believe the same thing. The Orthodox will tend look at the scriptures literally and be the most observant to Jewish Law. The Conservative view the Hebrew Scriptures more seasonal and will be less observant than the Orthodox. The reform will see the scriptures as allegorical and that the experiences with Moses and King David as just good stories and even less observant that Conservative.

Aren’t we “no longer under the law?
Yeshua said in Matthew chapter 5; “I did not come do away with the Law, but to fulfill it” In other words one could look at the Good News, the Gospels, as the God of Israel sending his son to teach us his interpretation of Torah and the rest of the Hebrew scriptures. What we are is not under is the curse of the Law. Paul writing to the believing congregation in Galatia said your righteousness will not be by observing Torah, but that Messiah Yeshua redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us

What about the Holocaust?
The rabbis believe that during that time we as Jews did not kept Torah or are in sin and that is why the Holocaust happened. But the truth is that HaSatan [Satan] does exist and has deep passion to see the Jewish people wiped off the face of the earth. Satan is the enemy of our souls, the father of lies, and the greatest deceiver. The truth is that there is Evil on the earth. Hitler was Evil and an instrument used by the enemy.

What is replacement theology?
It is a doctrine that in essence states that since the Jewish people have rejected Yeshua as Messiah, then the God of Israel has rejected them. Rabbia Shaul [Paul] states in Romans 11; “I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew.” Rom 11:1-2 This doctrine is from the pit of “Sheol” [Hell]

What is dual covenant theology?
It is a doctrine that evolved out of the holocaust and motivated by Christian guilt. Church Leaders said to the Jewish people: “We don’t want to evangelize you, we only want to acknowledge and validate your existence as a people.” The doctrine say’s that the Jewish people, as “The Chosen People”, have a separate relationship with the God of Israel. The problem with this is that it conflicts with the Good News. Yeshua said in Yochanan 14:6 [John] to Jewish Talmidim [Disciples]: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” In other word the only way to have a relationship in right standing with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, is by placing ones trust [faith] in his Messiah, Yeshua.

What is “aliyah” theology?
Aliyah theology is one proclaimed by the greatest lovers of Israel. It is taught and acted upon mostly by Christian Zionists and goes like this; “Just get the Jewish people back to Israel and God will do the rest.” The problem is if a Jew is standing at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem or living in Moscow, Brooklyn, or Miami, etc. and does not know Yeshua… they will still go to the same place. Sheol [Hell]! What is shows is a misdirected love. Love that is concerned enough with the souls of the Jewish People enough to tell them the good news and bring them back to the God of Israel, through Yeshua.
